Welcome to August in the Blue Ridge Mountains…
Wintergreen is a great
place to visit to retreat from the Summer heat.
Q: Are there still lodging
reservations available for August?
A: Yes, there are still
resort homes and condos available for rent as
well as mountain cabins and B&B’s in Nelson
County.
Plus, you can end the
Summer in Wintergreen with a Labor Day
Celebration in September…keep reading my

Escape the Summer Heat
The mountains of Nelson
County are always at least 10 degrees cooler
than the metro areas of Richmond, DC or
Raleigh. August is a popular time to escape the
city heat and head to the Nelson County
mountains.
Vacation rentals are
available on a nightly basis, for a week or even
for a month. Check out
www.WintergreenResort.com or
www.VRBO.com. Wintergreen Resort is
offering a special Passport to Fun to renters

Wintergreen Summer Membership Sale
Who doesn’t love a sale?
The Wintergreen Membership Department kicked off
a sale on membership fees this Summer. The sale
is only for a limited time. So, if you have
been thinking about joining the Wintergreen
Membership Program, NOW is the time.
Not only does the sale
provide some discounted pricing, but the sale
also offers financing options and package
deals. It is the best “sale” that I have seen
from Wintergreen Resort.
With some resort amenities
now only for WPI Club Members, now is the time
to consider purchasing a club membership. (You
do have to be a property owner within the resort
to purchase a membership.) Not only can your
family benefit from the membership but so can
your guests.
There are too many sale
options to list in this blog, so visit
www.WintergreenResort.com and click on the
“Membership” link within the top navigation
bar. The full list of sale packages are
outlined. There is also a contact number for
Nelson Jones, the Membership Sales Manager.
