November is the month where
we transition from Fall Foliage Season to the
Holiday Season and Ski & Ridge Season. There
are many events planned to ring in the holidays
plus some new resort amenities. November 2009
will be an exciting time in Wintergreen Resort.
The decorating has started
in Wintergreen & Nelson County for the holiday
season. When visiting, be sure to stop by the
Mountain Inn to see this year’s holiday
decorations.

Snow for Thanksgiving?
This year’s Farmers Almanac is calling for a
chance of snow in the Blue Ridge Mountains over
Thanksgiving. As ski season approaches, I will
be posting more information about our weather.
Weather permitting, The Plunge Snow Tubing
Park will be open on Thanksgiving Weekend!
The Plunge is Virginia’s largest snow tubing
park.

and Ski Season.
The Coppermine Bistro:
The Coppermine Restaurant
will close for a few weeks after Thanksgiving.
It will re-open in time for the Christmas
holiday season as the new Coppermine Bistro.
The Bistro will have a new atmosphere and a new
Italian/Med menu including pasta and flat bread
pizza.
The Gristmill Wine Bar:
The Gristmill area will be
open from Friday-Sunday each week as a Wine &
Beer Bar. Relax in front of the cozy fireplace
and enjoy your favorite beverage.
The Coffee Bar:
By popular request, coffee
will be returning to the Mountain Inn lodge.
Stop by the General Store to visit the new
Coffee Bar. The coffee will arrive in time for
ski season.
