Plan for Fall Foliage Season

Its not too late to plan a Fall vacation to Nelson County.  Here are some ideas:

Visit the Nellysford Farmer’s Market:  It is open every Saturday morning until the end of October

Take a Nelson County Wine Tour:  October is Virginia Wine Month (see below for details

Congratulations Devil’s Backbone Brewery

Congratulations to Nelson County’s Devil’s Backbone Brewery for awards and medals won at the Great American Beer Festival in Denver in September.  Devil’s Backbone Brewery is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner in Beech Grove, just below Wintergreen Resort’s mountain village.

It is not too early to book a reservation for the popular Copper Mine Thanksgiving Buffet.  For reservations, call 434-325-8090 for information and reservations.  Recently, I checked out the menu and there is something for everyone and for all ages.  This buffet usually sells out so book NOW. 

When Does Ski & Ride Season Start?
