Thanks to everyone who stopped by the Wintergreen Resort Premier Properties office over the long holiday. It was great to see many of you. We had some warm weather just after the New Year, but we are back to making snow today. Ski conditions on Dobie and Eagle’s Swoop are great today, January 13^th. Winter Holidays Start planning now for the 2008 Winter Holidays. Martin Luther King weekend, Valentines Day and President’s Day weekend are all busy in the resort.
Wintergreen Resort Premier Properties will be serving wine, in a souvenir glass, hot cider and cookies in the Mountain Inn Lobby on both Saturday, January 19^th and Sunday, January 20^th from 1PM-5PM. Come by the Mountain Inn Lobby for some great refreshments and see the latest in resort real estate listings. I will be working the wine area on Sunday, and I hope to see you there.

Safe Sliders Kick-Off: To celebrate the National Ski Areas Association National Safety Awareness Week, Wintergreen launches its 2008 Safe Sliders program with an event featuring prizes, giveaways and Ridgeley the Bear on the Blue Ridge Terrace. This event targets children from 7-14 years old. Call 434-325-2100 for information about this award-winning yearly event.
It is not too early to book reservations for Valentines Day and President’s Day weekend. For Valentine’s Day, the resort is offering the “romance package” including spa deals and dinner at one of our fine restaurants.
Free Coffee Take advantage of Wintergreen Premier Properties Free Coffee promo during ski season. Pick up a Weekend Open House Guide from The Mountain Inn and bring it by the Wintergreen Resort Premier Properties office to get a coupon for a free cup of coffee at the Colony Coffee Shop, In the Mountain Inn. Cell Phone Coverage After a long wait, the AT&T tower is now active in Stoney Creek. I have already noticed a huge difference in cell and internet access at my own home and many in the resort are reporting full coverage from AT&T. Later in 2008, Verizon hopes to cover Nelson County with additional towers and coverage. Wireless Internet is available in The Mountain Inn, especially in the coffee and shopping area. Coverage is offered for free.
What is The Dome? Come check out the new Adventure Dome at Wintergreen Resort’s Out of Bounds Adventure Center. This all-new, enclosed structure will keep you entertained off the slopes all winter long.
